The rolling hills of the south coast have inspired so many great Australia Landscape painters. This headland painted from Gerringong cemetery is I feel one of the most voluptuous. From here you can see way south to Seven Mile Beach and the Shoalhaven. The afternoon light is especially dramatic when storms are rolling in. This painting was done with 
the threat of rain approaching.
