Come November is Sydney the Jacaranda trees blossom. Over the past few years I have tried to set aside time to go out and paint these wonders. This large picture is one that tries to capture the scale and beauty. The truck and branches scaffold various shades of white, blue, green and violet.  Light bouncing in and around deeper shows. This painting is the result of many layers with paint in parts thinned with linseed oil and turps and allowed to drip down the picture revealing some of the layers beneath. This painting in my mind and for many reasons is very special.
