Abstract Expressionism aiming to evoke an emotional response, open to interpretation or to be left unexplained. The black lines are the result of dozens gestural charcoal drawings, then boldly laid across the canvass, then pushed and pulled and cut in and out with the gloss white paint. The under tones of pick and blue are early layers that in parts have found their way to the surface. The aim is to achieve a balance between tension and calm, chaos and balance.
